Childrens Hospice Week 2017

Childrens Hospice Week is an annual awareness campaign ran in conjunction with Together for Short Lives which raises awareness about children's hospices and the hard work they do to support families who have a child diagnosed with a life limiting illness.

Butterwick House Hospice for Babies, Children and Young Adults provides services and support to families 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The care team includes Registered Sick Childrens Nurses, Health Care Assistants, Nursery Nurses, Family Support Workers and Complementary Therapists,

Butterwick House Hospice offers care and support not just for children with life-limiting illnesses, but also their parents, siblings, extended family and carers. The Hospice cares for Children from a large area of North East England, from North Yorkshire to Wearside and from the coast to the Cumbrian border. Read more here.
