More info

One day’s specialist care at Butterwick House costs £2203. Taking part in Pay for a Day you can make a real, tangible difference to babies, children, young adults and their families living with a life limiting illness throughout our region by choosing to pay for 24 hours of specialist care at Butterwick House. This can be as a one off donation, or by fundraising throughout the year with your company, group or organisation.

Butterwick House is YOUR local hospice caring for very special babies, children and young adults living with the effects of a life shortening condition.

You may like to Pay for a Day as an individual, group or company – it’s up to you.  Our experienced fundraising team are on hand to help you no matter how you choose to take part.  There is no limit on the number of days you can pay for, and you can select your chosen date over multiple years if you wish.

Butterwick House Hospice is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Every hour a baby, child or young adult is in need of our services.

In recognition of your support you will receive:

-    Personalised certificate - We will produce a personalised, framed certificate for your chosen day. This will be displayed in the Reception area at Butterwick House on the day itself and will then be available for you to take away and keep as a memento, or to display if you wish.

-    Online – On your chosen day, your name will be displayed on the Butterwick website. We will also provide you with a page on our site that allows you to talk about why you chose to Pay for a Day and, if you wish, how you raised the money. This is where you will also be able to place a note of thanks or recognition to anyone else who may have been involved.

-    Book of Days – Your name, or the name of your organisation, will also be inscribed in our ‘Book of Days’, which is kept on display at the hospice.  If you wish, you can write a personal message to the children and families we care for.

For more information, or to visit Butterwick House to see first-hand the care provided and how much of a difference your sponsored day will make to the babies, children, young adults and their families accessing our services, please contact Anne Cooling on 01642 628930 or email [email protected]
