Butterwick Hospice Care receives less than a third of our costs from grants and contracts from the NHS and the local authority which means we have to raise around £7,000 every day to continue to provide our services. We are not a cash-rich charity, every penny we raise we spend. We have a wide variety of ways people can choose to support our work: from taking part in our weekly lottery, shopping in one of our charity shops to holding a fundraiser or attending a wide range of different events. We also have different ways schools and groups can get involved with us. In addition, we have business packages aimed at making it easier for local businesses to support our work.
