This December become Santa for the day! Butterwick Hospice are holding their annual Santa Run!
Our fun Santa Run is taking place at Hardwick Country Park in Sedgefield. Registration is from 9.30am and the event will commence at 10.30am.
The route is slightly less than 3km so please remember it doesn’t have to be a race, you can run, jog or walk! Entry is only £12.50 for adults, which includes a full Santa suit (one size fits all), £6 for Children 12 and under, which includes a Santa hat. All participants will also receive a completion medal, along with a yummy treat at the end..
We encourage you to place your entries as early as possible in order to secure a place in the run.
All Santa outfits and hats will be available to collect from our Stockton Hospice or Bishop Auckland Hospice leading up to the event, alternatively you will be able to pick your suit up on the day of the event from the registration tent or, register for your suit to be mailed to you before the event, however, there is a small charge for this. Please indicate on your form if you are able to collect your suit prior to the event. We are open Monday – Friday 9am-5pm.
There is an opportunity to raise extra funds for the hospice by being sponsored. Please encourage your sponsors to gift aid their pledge. If you would like any help with your fundraising please feel free to give us a call.
To make the event more fun for the family why not bring your dog? Our Santa Dog event sets off around 10 minutes after the runners, this is a £3 donation per dog.
Dogs must remain on a lead and owners must carry the necessary disposable bags. Please note the dog event commences just behind the other runners.
There is ample parking on the site and after the event there is a café for refreshments, please note there is a small charge for parking. Families bringing young children may want to feed the ducks, swans and winter water fowl after the event.
