Trekkers Head To India!

***Information Session TONIGHT - Monday 17th September, Butterwick Hospice at Bishop Auckland, 6pm; please join us to learn more***

himalayan view.JPGOur Peru trek challenge proved very popular in 2011, with 16 Butterwick Hospice supporters making their way to South America. Our trekkers raised over £24,000 for the Hospice, and from 4th—14th October 2013 we’re heading to the Himalayas!

Our challenge starts in the Boh Village, which is situated on the banks of the Brahal River, with spectacular views of the Dhaula Dhar Mountains.

Taking in the remote tribal villages, lush green fields, terraces and woodland, this four day trek eventually takes us to Mcleodganj before heading back to Delhi for a 2-day community project.

Registration is £300 and participants are asked to raise £2500 in sponsorship. himalayan flags.JPG

We hold regular fundraising & social meetings with trekkers so everyone gets the chance to meet each other prior to the trek and support each other, and fundraising support will be given throughout. A representative from the Hospice will also be joining you on your trip.

To request an information pack, email Julie Nisbet on julienisbet@butterwick.org.uk or call the Fundraising Team on 01388 603003.
