Butterwick House is located in Stockton-on-Tees in the North East of England. The Hospice provides care and support free of charge to children with life limiting illnesses from birth to 19 years of age and supports their families.
Butterwick House is part of Butterwick Hospice Care which is a registered charity no. 1044816. Butterwick House needs to raise over £880,000 each year to maintain the services it provides freely to children and their families. If you would like to know more about how you can help us please visit theWhat You Can Do section of this website for ideas and contact information for advice.
Butterwick House is staffed by skilled and experienced professionals and trained volunteers. We work in partnership with families and other professionals involved in each child's care.
Butterwick House serves families from Teesside, County Durham, North Yorkshire and Wearside.
At Butterwick House the focus is on each child enjoying their stay while family members take a break from round the clock caring responsibilities.
In order to provide our services freely to the families in our care we need to raise funds. It will cost almost £900,000 this year to ensure the children are able to enjoy all the facilities and care available at Butterwick House. If you need more information about the services provided by Butterwick House please contact Alison Appleby, Head of Children's Services, on 01642 607748 or email alisonappleby@butterwick.org.uk
