Huggy Bears and Thistle Hotel Raise Funds for Children's Hospice

Two delightful bears have spent the year sitting on the reception desk in The Thistle Hotel in Middlesbrough. They have been looking for homes for their brother bears and appealing to visitors to the Hotel to part with a bit more cash when they pay their bill to give a bear a home and help support Butterwick House Children’s Hospice.

Thistle Hotel GM Damon Roberts displays the bears with Tracy Bowstead and Vicki Jackson

On Wednesday at 1pm Thistle GM, Damon Roberts, accompanied by his Assistant Manager, Vicki Jackson and several of the bears will present a Christmas donation of £1,000 to help towards the cost of providing care for families at Butterwick House.
