Dom Makes a Clean Sweep for Butterwick Hospice

Butterwick Hospice prides itself on the welcome it provides to everyone who visits the service.

At the Stockton based hospice that welcome comes in part from the comfortable environment you find on entering the building. This homely welcome is partly achieved by the spacious reception area where a huge bright carpet covers the reception, waiting areas, shop and chapel.

In preparation for the recent royal visit to Butterwick Hospice, Fiona Wagner, Non Clinical Manager for the hospice, wanted to have the carpet professionally cleaned but was concerned about the cost of such a large professional cleaning job. Fiona invited Dom Blades, of local company Contact Carpet Cleaning, to cost the work. Dom, who specialises in cleaning contracts for all types of commercial flooring, came to see the extent of the work.

Following his visit, Dom not only agreed to carry out the work at short notice but also offered to clean the whole area to the highest standards, completely free of charge as a gift to the hospice. Fiona was thrilled with the results and the carpet looked like new during the important visit.

Dom has just re-visited the hospice to check up on how the carpet was looking and during his visit offered to help maintain the condition and appearance of the huge carpet with a regular professional clean on an ongoing basis, again completely free of charge!

The team at Butterwick Hospice is delighted to know that the maintenance of such a large area of carpet is now in safe hands and that Dom will be able to support the hospice’s housekeeping team in providing a bright and homely welcome to everyone who visits the hospice in Stockton.

Butterwick Hospice is keen to recommend Dom’s expert services to local businesses who are interested in maintaining a welcoming environment for their customers.

Contact Carpet Cleaning is a member of the National Carpet Cleaning Association, The Approved Carpet Cleaning Association and also has Trust Mark accreditation.
