How Volunteering Benefits Us

Volunteers give their time freely to help the hospice raise funds through shops and lotteries and fundraising events. They also help to provide all the little extra services that make hospice care special.

A volunteer brings a patient's lunchWe depend upon our volunteers to carry out many support roles across the Charity.

Giving your time freely to help Butterwick Hospice care for people means the hospice can provide so much more for patients and their loved ones.

The greatest benefit to the Hospice is that giving your time freely means more care can be provided at no extra cost to the charity. Volunteers working in Stockton's in-patient unit
