Supporting Butterwick Hospice Care is a great experience that will offer your Pub or Club the opportunity to arrange an enjoyable and different social experience, while raising much-needed funds for your local Hospice.
Over the years we have worked with many local Pubs and Clubs, with some great results – we have raised some fantastic sums of money during events that people have really enjoyed and wanted to do again and again.
We appreciate that you know your local area and customers best, and we will work with you to determine which of our many events will work best. Of course, you might have your own ideas – even better!
For any fundraising you do with us, we will of course help, guide and support the process, as much or as little as you like.
An obvious advantage of fundraising with us is we can put on a special event that will be attractive to both existing and potential customers. Not only because the event will be a brilliant night’s entertainment, but the added bonus of supporting a local charity provides an extra inventive for people to attend.
The charity element of the event can add an additional and powerful element to the advertising and promotion of the event, meaning this event can be marketed in different and potentially wider ways.
Raffle a Christmas Teddy You can support the work of the Children's Hospice by raffling one of our cute Butterwick Teddies. We will supply you with everything you need for a successful raffle.
A Comedy Night is a one simple and ever-popular activity that always generates a lot of interest and ensures people have an enjoyable night.
A Race Night is certain to bring in the crowds for something different that adds great excitement to the evening, and always gets the crowds going – remember, the louder you shout, the faster the horses go!
A Karaoke is an old favourite that always brings in the crowds – there is always somebody who wants to proudly sing, or is that shout, one of the classics. On a similar theme, a musical act can prove very popular, and for charity, acts are often willing to reduce or waive their fees.
A Summer Garden Party is a fun occasion for all the family, it could be with a BBQ and perhaps some outside entertainment, maybe a music act.
It can be as simple as a Quiz Night, and this is also an example of regular smaller events that, when combined, can offer great entertainment and enjoyment in addition to a great income for the charity.
You can celebrate Special Occasions, such as days of the patron saints or Easter or Christmas, in the traditional way, or follow another tradition such as a Scottish Ceilidh.
By fundraising with Butterwick, you will be helping to fund the special work we do for local children. For any fundraising we do, we will be looking to work with the local press, with whom we enjoy a strong relationship, to publicise the activities.
This could be advertising within the local community, working with the local newspapers and other such publications, or with the local radio stations.
