Butterwick Dragon Boat Challenge 2009

Do you enjoy messing about on the river?

Dragon Boats are great fun for everyone and Butterwick Hospice is giving you the opportunity to take part and raise vital funds for the Children’s Hospice.You don’t need to be Steve Redgrave to take part - enthusiasm is the key to success.

Teams are made up of between 12 and 18 paddlers and will compete with 5 other teams in a round-robin competition.This means each team will get time to practise and at least 5 races.On the shore there will be a Bar and BBQ for refreshments.

This event is a great chance for colleagues to enjoy a day out of the office; for sports teams to socialize in the off season or for a group of friends to relax and enjoy the weather.

All we ask is that each person raises £50 sponsorship to help provide, respite, end-of-life and bereavement care to the children who need it most.
