Voices for Hospices is a wave of simultaneous concerts around the globe which takes place on World Hospice and Palliative Care Day every two years. The objective of the event is to raise funds and awareness for hospice and palliative care in our region and around the world.
Butterwick Hospice will be holding it’s Voices for Hospice concert at Stockton’s Baptist Tabernacle on Saturday 10th October from 7.30pm. The award winning Ravenswood Singers will be performing a variety of songs from hit musicals including West Side Story, Phantom of the Opera, Miss Saigon and Les Miserables.
Over the years The Ravenswood Singers have raised many thousands of pounds for charity and have participated in local and regional events for arts councils, civic functions and tourist promotions. They also took partin the Royal Gala Evening at the Theatre Royal, Newcastle, in the presence of their Royal Highnesses, the Duke and Duchess of York. Come and join us for a fantastic night of entertainment, and help to raise funds for Butterwick Hospice.
Tickets are priced at £7, with concessions at £5, and are available from the hospice reception or by calling Mandy at the fundraising office on 01642 628 930. Refreshments will be available on the evening.
