Do You:
Own a House? Own a Vehicle?
Have Many Possessions?
Have Life Insurance?
If you have answered Yes to any of the above questions the next question you should ask yourself is how soon and where can I draw up a Will.
By drawing up a will you will gain peace of mind by knowing that you have provided properly for all your loved ones future.
During February and May, Butterwick Hospice is working in partnership with local Solicitors to help you make a Will. The Solicitors are giving their time and expertise freely and all we ask is that you consider making a donation to the Hospice of £50 for a single Will and £75 for a pair of matching Wills.
If you would like to take part in this scheme, contact Ray Laidler on 01642 628 930, a fundraiser with Butterwick, who will be happy to help you.
WHY DO I NEED TO WRITE A WILL?
Here are eight good reasons!
1.To make sure that your money, property and possessions are passed on the way you want.
2.If you have young children, to choose who will look after them if neither parent is alive.
3.You may have a grown-up child or an elderly relative living with you and be anxious to safeguard their right to live in your house after your death.
4.To say what is to happen if your whole family is killed in a car crash oraccident.
5.To save tax.
6.To protect assets from Care Home fees.
7.To arrange for burial or cremation.
8.To leave a legacy to charity.
