One of our biggest events of the year is coming up - the Ladies Midnight Walk 2008.
Butterwick Hospice Care is inviting ladies of all ages to step out into the night on Saturday 14th June 2008 and raise vital funds for adults and children with life limiting illnesses.
Sedgefield Racecourse is the venue and supporters can choose to complete 5 or 10 laps which equates to 6.5 miles or a half marathon of 13 miles. The walk will be led by Pam Royle and Dawn Thewlis of Tyne Tees Television. The Midnight Walk event is modelled on similar walks held by hospices around the country. It is hoped that this event will become synonymous with the hospice movement.
This challenging and enjoyable event could be the spring board to a healthier life style or a chance to get together with a group of girlfriends and make a difference to the lives of adults and children from across the region.
