Butterwick Launches this year's Midnight Walk and new Twilight Walk!

Last year's Midnight Walks were amazing. At the stoke of midnight over 940 women joined together to share an experience and at the same time raised over £93,000 for their local hospice services.
These events capture people's imagination and the amount of funds raised certainly showed how special the occasions were.
This year we have two separate walks for you to choose from. We are, for the first time, organising a Twilight Walk in Bishop Auckland.
The Twilight Walk leaves from Bishop Auckland College at 6pm on Saturday 12th June 2010.
The distance is just over 10 kilometres. The Twilight Walk will enable those who prefer not to walk through the night to join in with the fun and the party atmosphere as women from all over the area come together to support Hospice care.

The Midnight Walk

This year's Midnight Walk will be held in Stockton on Tees on Saturday 10th July 2010. The walk will start on the stroke of Midnight at the Infinity Bridge beside Durham University Queen's Campus in Stockton and follow a course that is approximately 6 miles in length along the riverside.
The Midnight Walk has been a fantastic fun event for the last two years where women from across the region have gathered their female friends, families and colleagues together to enjoy a good walk in aid of hospice care in their community.

Entry to the Midnight Walk costs just £12.50. Each registered entrant will receive a T-shirt, refreshments en route and a well deserved bacon sandwich at the end of the walk.
